Mechanical Assembler

Shift: 1st shift (morning)

Pay: $19/hour starting out, pay increase after 3 months

Job Description

Mechanical Assemblers responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies, ensuring high-quality and efficient production processes.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.

+ Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.

+ Use hand tools such as crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, and press fits.

+ Mount assembled components like transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits on chassis panels.

+ Connect component wires to circuits and connect wires between individual component leads.

+ Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.

+ Tend to machines and adjust or trim materials from components.

+ Position or align components and parts using hand tools or machines.

+ Conduct quality control checks to ensure precision and accuracy.

+ Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools.

+ Prepare work by studying parts lists and gathering necessary materials.

+ Verify specifications by measuring completed components and resolving assembly issues.

+ Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting malfunctions.

+ Ensure a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations.

+ Manage inventory by checking stock levels, placing and tracking orders, and verifying receipt of supplies.

+ Conserve resources by efficiently using equipment and supplies.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
