Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

Join our team as a Construction Laborer, where you will play a vital role in assisting with the installation of electrical conduits and cables. Your responsibilities will include supporting wire splicing, preparing cables under supervision, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

+ Assist with trenching and digging for electrical conduit and cable installation.

+ Support wire splicing and cable preparation under supervision.

+ Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment.

+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

+ Follow instructions from the Journeyman Electrician and site supervisor.

+ Perform basic measurements and layout tasks.

+ Assist with pulling wire, setting boxes, and mounting hardware.

+ Ensure compliance with safety standards and site protocols.

+ Help with site cleanup and material disposal as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in construction or general labor.

+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions.

+ Basic understanding of hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience in construction or general labor preferred.

Work Environment

Work involves outdoor conditions, and you will be using hand and power tools. The role requires physical endurance and the ability to lift heavy materials. Dress code is appropriate for construction work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Janesville, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
