Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled assemblers to join our team. As an assembler, you will play a crucial role in our production line, working on-site at MTM. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to a dynamic work environment. We are hiring for both first and second shifts, with three positions available for each shift.

Responsibilities

+ Perform two main processes on the assembly line: assembling nylon tubes and placing them on an assembly board.

+ Execute the first process by inserting lightweight yet long nylon tubes into a machine that bends them into the proper shape, following detailed work instructions.

+ Conduct the second process by manually clipping and clamping nylon tubes into clusters on an assembly board, which requires more physical effort.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production, assembly, and general labor.

+ Proficiency with hand tools and assembly line operations.

+ Ability to follow work instructions and operate machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with mechanical tasks and blueprint reading.

+ Experience with power tools and machine operation.

+ Knowledge in the use of calipers, micrometers, and handling nylon tubes.

Work Environment

You will be working on your feet throughout your shift, which includes a 45-minute unpaid lunch and two 10-minute breaks. The first shift operates from 7:00 am to 3:45 pm, while the second shift runs from 7:00 pm to 3:45 am. Initial training and orientation will be provided to ensure you are well-prepared for your duties.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, Alabama.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.88 - $19.88/hr.
