    Job Description

    As a Wire Cutter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring precise measurement and cutting of wire. You will operate forklifts, conduct quality control on wire length and cuts, and use handheld RF scanners. Your role will also include receiving and loading wire, staging completed orders, and organizing electrical products in the warehouse. Cross-training in other departments may be required to assist as needed.

    Responsibilities

    + Identify, measure, and cut wire accurately.

    + Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts minimally, about 10-20% of the day.

    + Conduct quality control checks on wire lengths and cuts.

    + Use handheld RF scanners for inventory and picking tasks.

    + Receive wire, load onto racks, and stage completed orders.

    + Organize electrical products in the warehouse.

    + Assist in other departments as needed through cross-training.

    + Lift, bend, and stand for 8 hours or more daily.

    Essential Skills

    + 1 year of forklift experience (sit-down required, stand-up is a plus).

    + Experience with RF scanners.

    + Basic math skills.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Willingness to learn multiple skills and cross-train.

    + Ability to take constructive feedback effectively.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a warehouse and yard setting with temperatures reflecting outdoor weather conditions. You will work alongside 15+ employees during the day, with managers offering support and feedback. The warehouse operates 24 hours, 5 days a week, with occasional mandatory overtime on weekdays. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 2 PM to 10:30 PM.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
