    Job Title: Superintendent specializing in Healthcare

    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Superintendent with 4–5 years of experience in hospital or healthcare construction with a strong working knowledge of HCAI (formerly OSHPD) standards. The ideal candidate will oversee field operations, ensure compliance with healthcare construction regulations, and lead teams to deliver high-quality, safe, and timely projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage day-to-day field operations on healthcare construction sites, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.

    + Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to maintain workflow and quality standards.

    + Ensure full compliance with HCAI regulations, including documentation, inspections, and communication with HCAI field staff.

    + Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce site safety protocols.

    + Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum.

    + Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation.

    + Lead and mentor field personnel to promote a culture of excellence and accountability.

    Essential Skills

    + 4–5 years of experience as a Superintendent in hospital or healthcare construction.

    + Proven experience working under HCAI/OSHPD standards.

    + Strong understanding of healthcare construction processes, infection control protocols (ICRA), and life safety requirements.

    + Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.

    + Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

    + Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + OSHA 30 certification preferred.

    + HCAI training or certification is a plus.

    The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $165000.00/yr.
