Process Coach Role

Job Description

As a Production Process Coach, you will oversee the work of UAW employees within various plant areas. You will manage 50-90 employees, ensuring they complete daily tasks and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

+ Supervise and manage UAW employees in different plant areas.

+ Ensure employees adhere to daily tasks and follow company policies.

+ Hold team members accountable for their actions and performance.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in supervising within a union environment.

+ Background in the automotive industry, preferably within logistics.

+ Proven supervision experience, especially in an OEM or tier 1 supplier setting.

+ Bachelor's degree.

+ Basic computer literacy, particularly with Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 3-5 years of supervision experience in an automotive facility.

+ Recommendations from Ford Management employees are advantageous.

+ Strong soft skills and resilience in a challenging environment.

Work Environment

The position requires flexibility with working hours and shifts, with some employees working 60-70 hours per week. It is a fast-paced environment that demands quick decision-making skills. The dress code is business casual with allowances for golf shirts. This is a swing shift position, rotating every three months among A, B, and C crews. Supervisors are expected to arrive 30-45 minutes before and stay after production hours.

This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
