Join our team as an A&P Mechanic performing essential maintenance and troubleshooting on corporate and private aircraft both in the hangar and on the road during AOG rotations. You will also have the opportunity to work at other locations as needed, dealing with commercial and GA aircraft. This role includes a weekly on-call rotation, project management responsibilities, and direct communication with passengers, aircraft owners, and maintenance control teams.
Responsibilities
+ Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on corporate/private aircraft in the hangar and during AOG rotations.
+ Float to other locations to work on commercial and GA aircraft as needed.
+ Participate in a weekly on-call/AOG rotation and handle AOG calls as desired.
+ Manage all aspects of projects you are attached to, providing updates to all relevant parties.
+ Communicate effectively with passengers, aircraft owners, maintenance control teams, and others to ensure aircraft are returned to service promptly.
Essential Skills
+ A&P certification.
+ 3+ years of experience in aviation maintenance, with AOG experience strongly preferred.
+ Experience communicating directly with corporate flight departments, maintenance controllers, and customers.
+ Ability to provide detailed and quality written/documentation skills, exceeding standard log book requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with corporate/private airframes is strongly preferred.
+ Experience with companies like Stephens, West Star MRT, Gulfstream Fast, Jet East, Net Jets, or Flex Jet is beneficial.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills for discussing project updates and troubleshooting.
Work Environment
Our team works with a flexible schedule that may include weekends and overtime, with standard hours being Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The role includes a 7 on/7 off on-call schedule for travel and after-hours work. Expect to work in non-climate-controlled environments, with a commitment to quality and quick return to service. Travel may be required within a 300-mile radius, and you will often travel with another mechanic as a team for AOG calls.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $42.00/hr.
