    Job Title: Rotomold Machine Operator

    Job Description

    The Rotomold Machine Operator is responsible for the overall operations of the machine and the manufacturing of high-quality parts. This role requires a deep understanding of the rotational molding process and the ability to program, maintain, and operate the rotomold machine efficiently.

    Responsibilities

    + Program and maintain the operation of the rotomold machine, including setup, shutdown, and temperature adjustments.

    + Fill buckets with powder, pull completed parts, and perform scraping and cleaning as per work instructions.

    + Understand rotational molding processes, including mold preparation and minor maintenance tasks such as mold releases and cleaning parting lines.

    + Ensure the production of good quality parts by adhering to quality standards and critical dimensions.

    + Conduct first-part inspections to approve setup.

    + Read, follow, and correct errors in molding process sheets, and report to supervisors or leads.

    + Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors across shifts.

    + Organize and clean the work area after each shift.

    + Stock production materials appropriately.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of machine operating experience

    + 2+ years of blueprint reading experience

    + 2+ years of injection or rotational experience

    + Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Knowledge of standard resins and their proper cure

    + Ability to conduct minor maintenance and understand basic mechanics

    + Experience with injection molding machines is a plus

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a clean manufacturing environment with openings on 1st and 2nd shifts. During training, employees will start on the 1st shift for several months before potentially moving to other shifts.     This is a Permanent position based out of Leetsdale, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $45000.00/yr.

    This is a fully onsite position in Leetsdale,PA.
