    Job Title: Traveling Automation Technician

    Job Description

    This role requires a Traveling Automation Technician to work on parcel and sorting machines at client sites. The candidate will need to travel extensively and perform a variety of technical tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Work on parcel and sorting machines at client sites.

    + Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repair, and service.

    + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

    + Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for field service.

    + Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections.

    + Install and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

    + Ensure quality assurance and adherence to safety standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

    + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

    + Knowledge of preventive maintenance and inspection processes.

    + Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

    + Familiarity with construction and conveyer systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + OSHA 10 certification.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danbury, Connecticut.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $48.00/hr.
