Job Description

As a Machine Operator you will play a crucial role in preparing parts for assembly. Your primary responsibility is to operate various machines ensuring that raw metal materials are processed to the correct specifications.

Responsibilities

+ Operate machines and equipment in accordance with production standards.

+ Perform visual inspections and functional testing to ensure quality.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues.

+ Maintain accurate records of production and quality results

Essential Skills

+ Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift.

+ Steel-toed or composite shoes.

+ Ability to read, write, and understand English.

+ Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and units of measurement.

+ Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally (most items are moved by overhead hoist).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Manufacturing experience preferred.

+ Experience using hand and power tools.

Available Shift & Pay

+ 1st shift: 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

+ $20.50-$22.50, based on experience

+ 2nd Shift: 3:45 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

+ $21.50-$23.50, based on experience

Work Environment

The work environment includes a temperature-controlled facility where safety is paramount, requiring steel toes, safety glasses, and gloves. The shifts include 1st Shift from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 2nd Shift from 3:45 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., with a $1 differential for the latter. Training for the 2nd shift may occur on the 1st shift or split shift for 6 weeks or longer.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $23.50/hr.
