Job Title: Body Painter Helper
Job Description
Join our team as a Body Painter Helper and assist in the preparation and painting of materials. Your role will involve various tasks essential to maintaining the paint line and ensuring quality finishes.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare materials for the paint line.
+ Learn and perform tasks such as hanging, taping, sanding, buffing, and conducting visual checks.
+ Assist in prepping carbon steel parts for painting.
+ Adapt to various tasks to support the paint line.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in production and general labor.
+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.
+ Knowledge in wet coat painting and paint preparation.
+ Ability to use a spray gun, hand tools, and operate in a paint booth.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Attention to detail is crucial.
+ Experience in prep work for residential or industrial painting.
+ Willingness to develop skills and grow into a painter role.

Work Environment
The work environment is non-climate controlled, with heaters available in the winter and industrial fans during the summer. Personal protective equipment, including coveralls, is provided. While steel-toed shoes are not required, closed-toed shoes are necessary.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Apex, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
