    Job Title: Shop Mechanic

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Shop Mechanic to join our team. The primary role will involve disassembling electric motors and pumps, cleaning and repairing them, and then reassembling. The position requires a strong mechanical background with a preference for some electrical knowledge.

    Responsibilities

    + Disassemble and reassemble electric motors and pumps.

    + Clean and repair mechanical parts.

    + Perform grinding as necessary.

    + Test electro-mechanical rotating equipment to troubleshoot problems using various methods (AC/DC).

    + Replace or repair worn or defective mechanical or electrical parts and assemblies, including brushes, bearings, motor leads, gears, seals, impellers, mechanical switches, and more.

    + Operate specialized repair and testing equipment such as test panels, surge testers, core loss testers, and more.

    + Work with water pumps, sewer pumps, and other related equipment.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $61000.00/yr.
