    Job Title: Field Service Heavy Equipment Technician

    Job Description

    The Field Service Heavy Equipment Technician is responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy equipment at customer job sites. This role focuses on ensuring optimal performance and reliability of engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and other machine components.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

    + Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections.

    + Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and updates.

    + Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

    + Operate service vehicles and maintain tools and equipment.

    + Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.

    Essential Skills

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + Technical training or certification in diesel or heavy equipment preferred.

    + 1–8 years of experience depending on technician level (I–III).

    + Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    + Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics.

    + Strong problem-solving and time management skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with hydraulics, heavy equipment, diesel engines, troubleshooting, repair, excavators, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

    + Proficiency in preventive and equipment maintenance.

    + Ability to read blueprints.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $101920.00/yr.
