    Aluminum MIG Welder

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate welders to hand weld products in a safe, efficient, and ergonomic manner.

    + Adjust welders as needed to maintain part quality.

    + Produce acceptable-quality welds with good workmanship and minimal rejects.

    + Complete work to print requirements, reading and understanding prints and symbols.

    + Manufacture products to specifications without a fixture using tools such as weld tables, tape measures, and protractors.

    + Professionally communicate production issues and seek clarification and resolution.

    + Perform tasks safely, including wearing safety glasses and gloves as required.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in MIG welding.

    + Proficiency in welding galvanized steel, carbon steel, and stainless steel.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, symbols, and part numbers.

    + Capability to work independently to complete work to print requirements.

    + Basic math skills to determine dimensions needed.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

    + Ability to reach a tape measure in fractions and decimals.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
