Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Description

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for preparing machines to start production cycles, loading and unloading raw materials, performing visual and dimensional inspections in accordance with company standards, and keeping records of conforming and nonconforming products. You will ensure the machinery is checked and maintained daily for optimal functionality and troubleshoot any issues that arise during your shift.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare machine to start production cycle.

+ Load and unload raw material onto the machine.

+ Perform visual and dimensional inspections according to company standards.

+ Keep records of conforming and nonconforming products.

+ Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.

+ Troubleshoot issues that might occur during the shift.

Essential Skills

+ Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement equipment such as calipers and micrometers.

+ Understanding of production procedures.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.

+ Adherence to health and safety regulations, including constant use of protective gear.

+ Analytical skills.

+ Attention to detail.

+ Teamwork and communication skills.

+ Print reading is essential.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of READING, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
