Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Assemblers to join our team in assembling level and pressure devices. You will work at an ergonomic station equipped with light tools such as screwdrivers and torque wrenches, using printed photos and written instructions to build sub-assemblies and final assemblies.

Responsibilities

+ Perform routine assembly operations on mechanical and electronic components.

+ Use various hand and power tools to assemble devices.

+ Fabricate sub-components as needed using different tools and machines.

+ Conduct visual inspections and functional testing during assembly operations.

+ Calibrate devices as necessary.

+ Maintain accurate inventory records and notify team leads of any adjustments or scrap.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.

+ Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift.

+ High attention to detail with a focus on quality.

+ Experience using hand and power tools.

+ Ability to read, write, and understand English.

+ Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and units of measurement.

+ Basic computer skills, including Microsoft suite.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Soldering experience is nice to have.

+ Previous assembly experience is preferred.

+ Experience in manufacturing is preferred.

+ Experience using torque equipment is advantageous.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a climate-controlled, clean manufacturing facility with ergonomic workstations. Assemblers will work on either the 1st Shift (6:00 AM to 3:00 PM) or the 2nd Shift (3:45 PM to 12:30 AM), with potential overtime on weekends if needed. A boot voucher is available before starting, and the dress code includes steel-toed or composite shoes. The facility offers on-site amenities such as a gym and an on-site physical trainer for ergonomic support.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwood, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $19.25/hr.
