    Job Title: Material Handler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Material Handler responsible for packing, auditing, picking, and moving items across the dock, as well as loading them. The ideal candidate should have experience operating a sit-down forklift and preferably have experience with standup, reach, and cherry picker forklifts. If not experienced in multiple types, we are looking for someone comfortable around equipment in this type of environment who is eager to learn and quickly adapt to training on additional equipment. Comfort with heights is necessary, as the cherry picker reaches up to 28 feet.

    Responsibilities

    + Pack, audit, pick, and move items across the dock.

    + Load items efficiently and safely.

    + Operate sit-down forklifts and potentially other types such as standup, reach, and cherry picker forklifts.

    + Learn and adapt to new equipment as needed.

    + Ensure safety and accuracy in handling materials.

    + Maintain organization and cleanliness in the work area.

    Essential Skills

    + 6 to 12 months of experience in material handling.

    + Proficiency with sit-down forklifts.

    + Familiarity with reach trucks and cherry pickers.

    + Ability to work comfortably at heights up to 28 feet.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with wire-guided forklifts.

    + Comfortable working around various types of equipment.

    + Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tasks.

    This is a Contract position based out of Fort Worth, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $19.75/hr.
