As a Mechanical Claims Specialist, you’ll use your deep understanding of vehicle systems to evaluate and process mechanical claims, helping customers and dealerships navigate repairs with confidence. What You’ll Do:
+ Use your hands-on automotive knowledge to assess, investigate, and process mechanical claims accurately and efficiently.
+ Communicate with dealerships and vehicle owners via phone and email to resolve claim-related inquiries and provide expert guidance.
+ Explain claim decisions clearly and compassionately, ensuring a positive customer experience.
+ Guide customers through the claims process, helping them understand next steps for repair approvals and warranty coverage.
+ Maintain detailed electronic records and follow established procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
+ Collaborate with peers and leadership to uphold a reputation for integrity, fairness, and excellence.
Types of Calls You’ll Handle:
+ Dealerships requesting approval for vehicle repairs under warranty.
+ Vehicle owners seeking clarity on approved or denied claims.
+ Customers needing guidance on how to initiate a claim or get a repair quote.
What You Bring:
Must-Have Qualifications:
+ 3+ years of hands-on experience as an automotive mechanic or in a related mechanical field.
+ Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and ability to explain technical concepts to both experts and everyday drivers.
+ Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
+ Comfortable navigating multiple software systems, including Microsoft Office and claims processing tools.
+ Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced call center environment.
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ Willingness to travel for a 2-week onboarding training at designated locations.
+ Availability to work occasional Saturdays.
+ Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet home workspace for remote/hybrid schedules.
Preferred Skills:
+ ASE certification.
+ Bilingual (Spanish & English).
+ Experience with labor guides (e.g., AllData) and scan tools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
