TEKsystems is currently interviewing mid-level technology Project Managers for a 12-18 month effort at one of our global enterprise customers. This is a W2-only opening; no C2C or sub vendor candidates will be considered.

Top Skills Required:

+ Mid-Level Enterprise PM - 3-5 years of experience

+ Agile/Scrum team tenure

+ Jira/User stories

+ Structured Project Management/waterfall/PMP preferred, but not required

+ SDLC/software development project leadership

+ Exposure to SQL and .Net apps preferred

Description

• Need someone with great communication skills

o Will be expected to present to project leadership in a clear/concise way on a very regular basis showing excellent command of their area

o Will interface with multiple teams / TPMs /SMs to gather/understand status and be able to summarize succinctly

o Someone who is hungry to learn/not set in their ways

o Professional and confident (without being arrogant)

o A background in waterfall project management or hybrid role – However, they must be well-versed on Agile-Scrum

• Proactivity

o Understands when to pick up the phone and call someone rather than waiting for an email response

o Detail orientated and communicative (proactive with issues but will investigate options w/o being asked to)

o Not just a status reporter/meeting coordinator, will dig into issues and actively help resolve them – VERY IMPORTANT

• Must understand that there is a process to follow that is non-negotiable

• JIRA experience is a very strong preference, as is MS Project competency

• PM/CSM qualifications are a strong preference (PMP, CSM/PSM, SAFe)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $59.00 - $63.00/hr.
