Position Overview

We are seeking an Accounting Associate I to join a dynamic billing team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while managing account-related inquiries and ensuring accurate financial transactions. This is a fully remote position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Handle inbound calls regarding invoices, payments, and account status.

+ Assist customers with updating and maintaining account contact information.

+ Send email communications regarding past-due and outstanding balances; make outbound calls as needed.

+ Process credits using PeopleSoft and maintain accurate transaction records.

+ Perform audits between systems to ensure data accuracy.

Required Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED required.

+ 1–2 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable.

+ Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel) and email communication.

+ Strong customer service skills and ability to resolve inquiries professionally.

Preferred Skills

+ Experience in call center environments.

+ Familiarity with collections and billing processes.

Workplace Details

+ Fully remote position; client provides equipment (must have reliable internet and Windows 10 device as backup).

+ Shifts available between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM MT, Monday–Friday (varied schedules such as 6–3, 7–4, or 8–5).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
