Position Overview:
Ideal candidate will have Home Infusion experience.
Assists with day-to-day operations with staff supervision, maintenance of clinical programs, effective intra- and inter-departmental communication, workload assignment, distribution, and proper allocation of pharmacy resources to deliver quality patient care. Ensures the timely and accurate preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products for the clinics and home infusion programs. Provides project or program development and operations as needed. Attends meetings and works on committees as assigned. Assists with coordinating after-hours pharmacy support. Spends time both in supervisory activities and in the performance of Staff Pharmacist job functions.

EDUCATION
+ PHARMD-Graduate of an accredited pharmacy school
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
+ PHARMR-Current registration or Registered Pharmacist within 120 days
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
+ 3 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
+ Drug utilization review procedures, therapeutic drug monitoring, and knowledge of quality improvement, nutritional support, IV hydration, pain management, infectious disease, chemotherapy, IV admixture processes.
+ Knowledge of pharmacokinetics.
+ Must be willing to act as a primary preceptor to pharmacy students.
+ Interpersonal communication, presentation, and time management skills.
+ Performing pharmaceutical duties in a pharmacy environment and following written or oral instructions.
+ Must be able to meet company productivity standards as indicated by organization and manager.
+ Must be able to hear, read, write and speak clearly to effectively communicate with department staff, other Sutter Care at Home employees and community, and carryout essential functions.
+ Must be able to handle sensitive issues, conflict with or among others, respectively direct and reinforce staff efforts; effectively plan and organize and prioritize work, think critically to both effectively plan and organize department operations consistent with Sutter Care at Home’s strategic and operating objectives and to effectively solve unique problems as they arise or identify when to consult supervisor.
+ Must be able to deal with challenging work environment with time demands and occasional conflicting priorities.
+ Maintain a positive and professional image and demonstrate self-directed learning to meet professional development and/or license requirements.
+ Is responsible for maintaining all required licensure and certifications.
+ Ability to be aware of surroundings and respond to emergency and/or urgent events
+ Ability to communicate with possibly disoriented, combative patients
+ Ability to work in mentally and physically demanding environment
+ Proven competency in aseptic technique, chemotherapy safety, pharmacokineticsaminoglycosides, pediatric, anti-coagulation, and other certifications.
+ Requires a basic working knowledge of legal requirements and accreditation standards including National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), The Joint Commission (TJC), Title XXII, United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and United States Pharmacopeia (USP).

Pay Range is $91.98 to $101.18 / hour
_The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package._
