Microsoft’s Azure Data engineering team is leading the transformation of analytics in the world of data with products like databases, data integration, big data analytics, messaging & real-time analytics, and business intelligence. The products our portfolio include Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure PostgreSQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, and Power BI. •Within Azure Data, the Big Data Analytics team provides a range of products that enable data engineers and data scientists to extract intelligence from all data – structured, semi-structured, and unstructured. We build the Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Integration pillars of Microsoft Fabric.
•Fabric Data Warehouse is Microsoft's new Data Warehousing product. We are hiring a Product Manager to come help build on a modern lakehouse-centric architecture. Fabric Data Warehouse is on a mission to provide the most advanced, fastest, yet easiest analytics service in the world.

Responsibilities
+ Contributes to identifying customers’ multiple needs and market opportunities for enhancements or development of multiple feature areas via analyses.
+ Identifies patterns in the data and prioritizes problem(s).
+ Builds experiences across multiple feature areas to determine impact, foresees future opportunities, and provides research evidence to determine priorities.
+ Helps distill the vision into a product roadmap, assists in building epics, and drives business impact across the organization.
+ Tracks metrics,identifies future-oriented opportunities, and provides clarity on fundamentals of multiple features or feature areas.
+ Provides thought leadership for questions and challenges from group managers and other leaders, while managing challenging feedback.
+ Defines the feature set and partners with Design teams for desired functionality and product vision.
+ Builds systems to enable the team to scale for a product area.
+ Collaborates with partner team to build golden configurations, drive scenario walkthroughs, and more for customer adoption of multiple feature areas.
+ Creates and drives strategy for taking the multiple feature areas to general availability.
+ Presents at Executive Briefing Centers and large events.
+ Develops, articulates, and presents reasoning and tradeoffs involved in deprecations.
+ Builds trust with a targeted selection of customers, communicating with customers to capture feedback.

Qualifications
Required** **/Minimum** **Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 1+ years experience in customer and market analysis using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
Preferred/Additional Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of product led growth
+ Experience using customer telementry data to drive product decisions.
+ Experience working a product management team that has weekly release cycles.
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
+ This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
