Job Summary
The Senior Supply Chain Process Lead plays a key role in leading process improvement initiatives and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Responsible for mentoring junior staff and driving change across the Supply Chain organization.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1.) Create recommendations to drive VP/Director level strategy for advancing the Supply Chain related skill and competency levels.
2.) Lead and manage collaborative effort across Supply Chain groups to qualify, plan, lead, support and implement business process improvements. Engage Supply Chain staff to actively solicit process improvement ideas and adopt a mindset of continuous improvement.
3.) Lead implementation and provide on-going support of Supply Chain work standards.
4.) Facilitate functional training for Supply Chain specific tools, competencies, process and policies.
5.) Own Supply Chain specific metrics and facilitate understanding and improvement discussions with various Supply Chain groups and functions.
6.) Ensure the Supply Chain Operations vision/roadmap aligns with Supply Chain, Procurement and Fleet Operations vision/roadmap and larger AEP vision.
7.) Collaborate and benchmark with other electric utility and cross industry Supply Chain organizations to ensure best practices and industry direction is considered as Supply Chain processes evolve.
8.) Ensure training documentation/work instructions are created and exist for Supply Chain related tools and processes.
9.) Report to management on local level understanding and adoption of KPIs as related to Supply Chain metrics. Ensure root cause analysis is determined where gaps exist and develop corrective action plan recommendations to the VP and Director levels.
10.) Develop and manage Supply Chain competency and skill level expectations across job families and lead the development of training and experience gaining activities to meet or exceed the expected progress levels.
11.) Develop and execute communication plan for changing Supply Chain tools, metrics, work processes/instructions and ensure adoption of such changes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education requirements are listed below: Bachelor degree or equivalent as defined the the experience requirements.
Work Experience requirement listed below: Minimum of 4 years' experience in leading project teams, project management methodology, Supply Chain/Procurement, and business process improvementOR if no degree, 8 years' of experience leading project teams, project management methodology, Supply Chain/Procurement, and business process improvement.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Travel requirements are expected > 50 % of the time Physical demand level is Sedentary Must have strong analytical, teamwork and communication skills along with the ability to work effectively with all levels of internal management. Strong presentation skills and the ability to convey detailed analysis into a high level discussion format is essential. Must be able to prioritize and coordinate multiple activities to successfully perform in this position. Demonstrate strong business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
This position can require travel 50% of the time. Able to motivate others to accomplish ambiguous tasks Demonstrated success at facilitating processes for complex issues and partnering cross-functionally. Facilitation and training skills Ability to lead teams in a matrixed organization, across geographic and functional reporting lines. Ability to strengthen relationships with key business partners & executives. Compelling and persuasive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to present at varying levels of the organization (up to and including senior executive management) through various forms of media.

$96,110.00-124,940.00 USD
