Salary: $2606 / Week
The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing patient evaluations, as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual patient and physician’s orders when applicable.
Overview
Trustpoint Rehab Hospital specializes in inpatient rehabilitation for stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic trauma, and other complex conditions. It also offers pediatric rehab services.
Responsibilities
+ Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and medical history.
+ Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
+ Provide therapy to improve motor functions, mobility, and daily living skills.
+ Educate patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
+ Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
+ Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital standards.
Qualifications
+ Graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
+ Current Texas PT license.
+ Current BLS/CPR certification.
+ Required: 1+ year experience in inpatient rehab, especially neuro.
+ Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
+ Ability to work with pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice
+ Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
+ One (1) year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
