Special Education Teacher | $50/hr | Full-Time | Albany, CA | Elementary | 2025–2026 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in Albany, California. This role begins October 20, 2025, and runs for 9 months.

Position Overview:

+ Location: Albany, CA

+ Start Date: October 20, 2025

+ Duration: 9 months

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week

+ Pay: $50/hr

+ Modality: In-person

+ Site: TBD

+ Interview Type: Virtual or in-person

Responsibilities:

+ Deliver specialized instruction and support to K–12 students with IEPs

+ Collaborate with general education staff and participate in team planning

+ Provide tutorial assistance and consultation

+ Maintain documentation and compliance with district and state standards

Minimum Requirements:

+ Valid California teaching certificate (Special Education preferred)

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

+ One year of teaching experience (preferred)

+ LBS1 endorsement (preferred)

+ CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
