    Amergis is seeking compassionate and dependable professionals to join our school-based team as School Aides. In this role, you will provide essential support to students with diverse learning and developmental needs, helping foster a safe, inclusive, and empowering classroom environment.

    + Pay Range: $17–$21/hour (based on experience)

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard school hours

    + Location: School sites across Los Angeles County

     
     

    + Support students with behavioral, developmental, and academic needs in collaboration with teachers and specialists

    + Assist with mobility, personal care, and therapeutic routines (training provided)

    + Promote a positive and structured classroom environment

    + Provide consistent emotional and academic encouragement to help students feel supported and empowered

     
     

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + CPR certification (or willingness to obtain—support provided)

    + TB screening and health clearance (per state or contract requirements)

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

    + Strong commitment to supporting children with diverse needs

     
     

    + Prior experience in caregiving, homecare, classroom support, or after-school programs

    + Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs

    + Demonstrated patience, empathy, and strong communication skills

    + Positive attitude and collaborative mindset
