Amergis HealthcareStaffing is seeking an Athletic Trainer who evaluates to advise individuals onhow to recover from or avoid athletic-related injuries or illnesses andmaintain peak physical fitness. This individual focuses on the prevention ofmusculoskeletal injuries and upstream management through early intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services to student-athletes during practices, games, and school-sponsored athletic events.
+ Collaborate with coaches, school nurses, and physicians to develop and implement individualized care plans and return-to-play protocols.
+ Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
+ Educate students and staff on health, wellness, and injury prevention strategies, including proper nutrition, hydration, and conditioning techniques.
+ Ensure emergency preparedness and respond to acute injuries with appropriate first aid and emergency care procedures.
Minimum Requirements
+ State Athletic Training licensure, certification and/or registration (as applicable by state)
+ Certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification (NATABOC)
+ Minimum of three (3) years athletic training experience preferred
