Senior JD Edwards Techno-Functional Lead

About the job you are considering:

We are seeking a highly experienced JD Edwards (JDE) Techno-Functional Consultant with over 20 years of hands-on expertise in implementing, managing, and optimizing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and/or World ERP systems. This strategic role combines deep functional knowledge with technical proficiency to lead ERP transformation initiatives, support business process improvements, and ensure system integrity across multiple departments and modules.

Your role:

+ Lead end-to-end JD Edwards ERP implementations, upgrades, patches, and integrations.

+ Architect scalable and sustainable JDE solutions across Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, HR, Procurement, Inventory, and Sales.

+ Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical JDE solutions.

+ Configure and support JDE modules, ensuring alignment with business goals.

+ Develop and maintain custom objects using JDE toolsets (OMW, FDA, RDA, NER, UBEs, Reports).

+ Provide technical leadership in CNC administration, system performance optimization, and JDE development.

+ Oversee data migration, system testing, and user training during ERP rollouts.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-impact ERP projects.

+ Ensure compliance with SOX, audit, and security standards within the JDE environment.

+ Create functional specifications, test plans, and training documentation.

+ Mentor junior consultants and internal teams on JDE best practices.

+ Liaise with Oracle and third-party vendors for support, licensing, and roadmap planning.

+ Provide end-user support and training across functional areas.

Your skills and experience:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).

+ 14 years of hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

+ Proven track record of leading large-scale ERP implementations and upgrades.

+ Strong functional expertise in core modules (Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory, Sales).

+ Technical proficiency in JDE development tools (OMW, FDA, RDA, NER, C Business Functions).

+ Deep understanding of CNC architecture, UBE, OMW, JDE security, workflows, and data structures.

+ Experience with JDE Orchestrator, BSSV, and integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and third-party tools.

+ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

+ Oracle certifications in JD Edwards.

+ Experience with JDE 9.2 or later versions.

+ Knowledge of cloud migration or hybrid ERP environments.

+ Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.

+ Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
