    **Pay Rate:** Based on experience

    **Work Hours:** M–F 8am–5pm

    **Education:** 2-year technical degree (Mechanical Technology, CAD, or related field) preferred

    **Minimum Experience:** 5 years

    Description

    Seeking a skilled **Drafting/CAD Technician II** to support mechanical design, documentation, and equipment development for industrial thermal process systems. This role works closely with engineers to create 2D/3D models, revise existing drawings, and assist in equipment build, start-up, and installation.

    Scope of Position

    • Support engineers in the design, development, and testing of mechanical and thermal process equipment.

    • Create and modify detailed 2D/3D mechanical drawings using **AutoCAD** and **SolidWorks** .

    • Update, revise, and maintain design documentation.

    • Support equipment debug, installation, and procurement activities.

    Requirements

    • **5+ years** drafting experience using **SolidWorks** and **AutoCAD** .

    • Proficiency in **Microsoft Office** .

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

    • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

    • Understanding of ANSI drawing standards preferred.

    • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
