    Job Description

    A client is seeking a hands-on Deployment Engineer to support critical upgrades and configurations of POS systems at remote production facilities. This role involves on-site work, system reconfiguration, and database deployment to ensure smooth operations across multiple environments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    -Remotely support production sites to perform POS system upgrades and reconfigurations.

     

    -Redirect and configure systems to the correct environments for optimal performance.

     

    -Spin up new databases, including installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.

     

    -Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless deployment and minimal downtime.

     

    -Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.

    Compensation:

    $40/hour to $48/hour

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -Must have completed previous Windows migrations

     

    -Strong knowledge of POS systems and database management.

     

    -Hands-on experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware/software systems.

     

    -Ability to work independently in remote environments and adapt to changing requirements.

     

    -Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. -Familiarity with SQL and database administration.

     

    -Experience in manufacturing or construction environments.

     

    -Understanding of networking fundamentals and system integrations.
