Job Description

The Chemical Production Material Handler is responsible for safely handling, transporting, and managing liquid chemicals and production materials within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality standards. Ideal candidates will have experience in industries such as aerospace, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Safely move, transfer, and store liquid chemicals using dallies, carts, and other material handling equipment.

Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures for chemical handling and transportation.

Maintain accurate records of material movements, inventory, and chemical usage.

Inspect containers, equipment, and work areas to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Collaborate with production and quality teams to support manufacturing processes.

Participate in ongoing training and demonstrate openness to learning new procedures and regulations.

Identify and report any safety hazards, spills, or non-conformances immediately.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, efficiency, and quality.

Skills and Requirements

1-2 years experience in a regulated manufacturing environment in a production related role

Knowledge of chemical safety protocols and hazardous material handling.

Experience with material handling equipment (dallies, carts, forklifts, etc.).

Familiarity with regulatory standards such as OSHA, FDA, or FAA.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
