    Job Description

    Insight Global's client is looking for a Senior Workday Integration Developer. They are reevaluating workday and streamlining the work by the functional teams. On integration end, they don’t have core in house integration developers. Integration developers are needed because of initiatives and projects requiring data from Workday.

     

    Here is a typical day to day

     

    Attend daily stand-up or scrum meeting to share progress, blockers, and priorities

     

    Review integration run logs and error reports from overnight jobs

     

    Triage and resolve any failed integrations or data sync issues

     

    Develop or enhance Workday integrations using tools like Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, or Web Services

     

    Collaborate with HRIS, payroll, and IT teams to gather requirements for new integrations

     

    Test integrations in sandbox environments and validate data accuracy

     

    Participate in meetings with stakeholders to demo integration workflows or discuss upcoming changes

     

    Document integration logic, data mappings, and technical specifications

     

    Monitor performance and optimize existing integrations for reliability and speed

     

    Deploy tested integrations to production or schedule them for overnight runs

     

    Update Jira or project tracking tools with completed tasks

     

    Prepare for next day’s priorities or sprint planning

    Skills and Requirements

    • At least 5 years Workday Integration Developer Experience

    • Strong knowledge of EIBs

    • Workday Studio, Cloud connect and other APIs

     

    Demonstrated experience in developing new Workday integrations based on customer requirements • Experience in using Service Now for incident management is nice to have but not required

     

    Experience in production support helpful. Monitoring and fixing failed integrations.
