    Job Description

    We are seeking a contract macOS Desktop Engineer to support the buildout and expansion of our enterprise macOS environment, with the goal of offering macOS as a fully supported platform in addition to Windows Devices. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in macOS administration, Microsoft Intune, and scripting for automation and compliance. Responsibilities include managing macOS devices via Intune—handling configuration and compliance profiles, application deployment, and custom scripting—as well as developing onboarding workflows using Apple Business Manager and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE). This role also involves providing Tier 4 support, collaborating with Workstation Management and Helpdesk teams, creating technical documentation, and training support staff to ensure a smooth rollout and ongoing support of macOS devices. Pay will vary from 50-55/hr depending on experience.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 3+ Years of MacOS Administration experience in an Enterprise Level Environment

    • 3+ Years writing Shell Scripts, Bash Scripts, and Terminal Commands

    • 3+ Years of experience with Apple Business Manager and MDM enrollment workflows.

    • 3+ Years of experience with Microsoft InTune:

    • Integration with Microsoft Entra ID

    • Creation and enforcement of compliance policies

    • Device Management

    • App Management

    User Access Control • Certified MacOS Desktop Admin

    • Experience writing custom scripts with BashShell and PowerShell
