Job Description
The BAE Systems FAST Labs Sensor Technologies (ST) product line focuses on R&D of multi-modal sensing and response technologies and capabilities that align with our Business Area and Customer market demands. Ranging from next generation lasers, precision beam pointing, advanced seekers, and expendables, ST has established itself as a market leader in the development of EO/IR and RF component technologies with a history of developing capabilities with Technology Readiness Levels of 3 to 6.
ST is seeking a Program Manager (PM) to lead programs supporting all technical area. The position requires an Active Clearance. This is a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience. The PM will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a program, performing Quality Assurance, and communicating verbally, and in writing to the customer to address changes and challenges. The PM also will interact frequently with internal and external senior level executives and customer representatives concerning projects, operational decisions, contracts, and strategies. Must be comfortable leading briefings and high-level meetings. Other key responsibilities include:
+ Official liaison between contract and customer
+ Monitor and control team efficiency and operations
+ Program/Contract Status reports
+ Accountability for performance of program key salients
+ Perform other operational and analytic support functions
+ Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team
+ Ensure programmatic and technical oversight of our subcontractors is being accomplished,
+ Support market Expansion activities, transition campaign discussions, transition Business Area standups, NSS (transition factory) collaboration,
This PM will lead a fast-moving DARPA program with HW/SW development elements. This position reports directly to the ST Program Management Office (PMO) Lead and must be based out of our Merrimack, NH facility. This position will require virtual and in-person collaboration with customers and staff across BAE Systems ES Facilities located across US.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a **hybrid work format** , with time split between working onsite and remotely.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Secret clearance / SAP clearable
+ Demonstrated management skills on both strategic/ LCM Programs and small cost constrained programs.
+ Ability to Effectively manage projects of high complexity and provide guidance.
+ Broad understanding of business, project, its markets, customers, and strategic priorities.
+ Experience of building relationships and negotiating outcomes with stakeholders.
+ Understanding of the wider PM environment, and of developments and practices in the field.
+ Broad understanding of the team structure, organization, processes, business, or project so as to be able to implement appropriate PM approaches.
+ Experience managing complex subcontracts
+ Leadership experience to include several of the following:
+ Borderless leadership experience.
+ Good understanding of how the team integrates with other teams in order to achieve objectives.
+ Develop and implement solutions to problems.
+ Influencing skills required in order to achieve optimum solutions with the wider team and other functions/disciplines.
+ Lead and motivate the local team.
+ Lead monthly Program Reviews as required
+ Understanding of existing BAE Systems markets and customers
+ Development and test experience in an R&D agile environment
+ Risk & opportunity management experience
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Top Secret / SCI clearance is highly desirable
+ Program Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
+ Practical understanding of product development and the DoD product development lifecycle.
+ Ability to build and maintain relationships across product lines, business areas, and the customer community.
+ Proven ability to lead a diverse, and complex organization across multiple sites.
+ Ability to define, develop and maintain critical skills in support of the business.
+ Experienced in facilitation and cross-organization communications.
+ Experience with resource planning, staff development and management reporting.
+ Exceptional ability to allocate and assign resources to technical tasks and manage the resources toward efficient utilization.
+ Demonstrated critical thinking skills and decision-making abilities.
+ Experience reviewing and approving Basis of Estimates and proposals including assessment of associated risks and opportunities.
+ Experience leading teams of multiple subcontractors
+ Experience with and understanding of corporate finance and reporting
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
