    Job Description

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    Collaborative Development:

    Partner with infrastructure, DevOps, security, and application teams to enhance platform capabilities, streamline deployment pipelines, and support shared technology goals.

    Automation & Efficiency:

    Identify manual processes within CCC’s infrastructure and automate them using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell). Implement CI/CD frameworks (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) to improve deployment speed and consistency.

    Platform Optimization:

    Refine infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost optimization while maintaining alignment with organizational standards.

    Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

    Introduce new ideas, tools, and automation strategies to enhance system reliability, improve developer experience, and support CCC’s modernization initiatives.

    Monitoring & Reliability:

    Develop and maintain observability solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK to ensure proactive system health monitoring and rapid incident response.

    Security & Compliance Integration:

    Work closely with cybersecurity and compliance teams to integrate DevSecOps practices, automate security scans, and ensure ongoing compliance.

    Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:

    Maintain clear documentation, build internal runbooks, and foster a culture of learning and mentorship within the team.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Must-Haves

     

    - Proven experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.

     

    - Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.

     

    - Automation-first mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation.

     

    - Proficiency in cloud platforms (especially AWS and Azure).

     

    - Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

     

    - Hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or similar).

     

    - Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).

     

    - Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

     

    - Understanding of security, compliance, and operational reliability principles.

     

    - Ability to work autonomously, self-start, and leverage tools like Copilot for problem-solving.

     

    - Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.). Plusses

     

    Experience with ServiceNow.

     

    Exposure to GCP (Google Cloud Platform).

     

    Prior work in environments leveraging cloud provider services for observability and monitoring.

     

    Demonstrated ability to mentor and share knowledge within a technical team.
