Job Description
The ITIM role requires interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. We are seeking an
ITIM to self-direct and who has experience in Project Management, and Construction
management. Background in Data Center/ telecom projects will be advantageous but not a
necessity.
The ITIM is responsible for project management of all fit-out activities associated with owned
systems and/or services and their critical infrastructure required to be installed into a new data
center facility. The role requires the identification and management of scopes and
interdependencies between all external and internal stakeholders and coordinating same with the
physical construction with our General Contractors and other vendors. The ITIM is responsible
for the project lifecycle including planning, budgeting, procurement, pre-construction activities,
coordinating the handover process and ensuring the required handover documentation and
expectations are met to handover the space to our Operations teams and the business.
The ITIM is responsible for producing and managing project plans and executing major milestones
(Early Access, Ready Network Install, Corpnet Live, Security CX Complete, Fit Out Complete,
Lockdown, Colo Ready) and for the financial approval and management function of these tasks on
own build and lease projects. This position will be based onsite (multiple site locations
available
• Leads data center construction/integration activities on local/campus projects (e.g., new or
retrofit data center facilities) and provides key input on all data center fit-out related
activities.
• This position requires a senior level of understanding of Safety, Datacenter Commissioning,
Project Management, Telecommunications, and Mission Critical Operations.
• Create and/or maintain best practices to identify and incorporate quality and cost-effective
solutions.
• Development of ITIM reports to best understand and communicate project status.
• Development of financial reports to best understand and communicate project status.
• Travel required.
pay for this is between45-70/hr

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Business Management, Electrical
Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years of experience in Data
Center construction project management or other Information Technology build outs
o OR equivalent experience
• 3+ years experience working on data center projects
• 2+ years experience managing large scale enterprise projects with both localized and virtual
teams Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
• PMI (Project Management Institute) – PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
• BICSI RCDD or similar Telecommunications Design/Installation Experience
• Data Center construction experience
• Construction Health & Safety Knowledge
• Cross-group collaborator and influencer across teams and organizations with proven
success in participating in cross-functional teams to deliver on key projects.
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and
deadlines simultaneously
• Ability to work within a dynamic team of full-time employees and consultants
