    COMPENSATION INFORMATION

    The salary range(s) represents our good faith estimate for the role at this time. While we strive to provide competitive and transparent compensation, there may be circumstances where an offer is above or outside of the listed range. We’re seeking a **Manager of Enterprise Portfolio** to lead a high-performing team responsible for driving alignment between our initiatives and the company’s most critical goals—and ensuring every project delivers measurable business value.

     

    This is not your typical portfolio management role. It’s a high-visibility, high-impact leadership opportunity at the heart of our organization’s growth and transformation. You’ll guide and mentor a team of portfolio and project professionals while working hand-in-hand with senior executives, IT leaders, and business partners to shape priorities, balance capacity with demand, and optimize our investments for maximum ROI.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Leadership and Team Development

    + Lead, coach, and develop a team of portfolio and project professionals to ensure consistent delivery excellence.

    + Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

    + Set clear priorities and performance goals aligned with organizational strategy.

    Strategic Portfolio Management

    + Align the organization’s project portfolio with strategic business objectives.

    + Partner with business and IT leaders to prioritize initiatives, forecast outcomes, and optimize resources.

    + Conduct scenario planning to ensure adaptability to changing business needs.

    Financial Oversight and ROI Tracking

    + Oversee portfolio budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.

    + Evaluate business cases, ROI, and value alignment for proposed projects.

    + Collaborate with Finance and PMs to ensure fiscal accountability and accuracy.

    Governance and Risk Management

    + Lead Stage-Gate reviews and ensure compliance with PMO standards.

    + Manage portfolio-level risk and issue tracking, escalation, and mitigation.

    + Support governance processes and executive-level decision-making.

    Resource and Capacity Planning

    + Monitor and manage resource allocation across projects.

    + Address capacity constraints and ensure balanced workloads.

    + Oversee time tracking compliance and data accuracy.

    Performance Monitoring and Reporting

    + Maintain real-time dashboards to track portfolio performance, risks, and utilization.

    + Provide executive reporting and presentations on portfolio health and outcomes.

    + Lead continuous improvement efforts in tools, reporting, and processes.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    + Communicate regularly with executives, sponsors, and PMs on portfolio performance.

    + Foster collaboration and transparency across departments and functions.

    + Translate data and insights into clear, actionable business recommendations.

    To be successful as the Manager of Enterprise Portfolio, you should have a:

    Education Requirements:

    + Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, **_OR_** two (2) years of relevant experience may be considered as meeting the education requirement in lieu of the degree.

    Experience Requirements:

    + 8+ years of experience in enterprise-level project or portfolio management, with a strong focus on financial tracking, benefit realization, and capacity/resource planning.

    + 3+ years of leadership experience.

    + Hands-on experience managing enterprise time tracking systems, resource planning tools, and capacity forecasting models.

    + Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional portfolios involving multiple business units and executive stakeholders.

    + Direct experience partnering with Finance and Accounting to align forecasting, budgets, and actuals with corporate reporting.

    + Prior ownership of time tracking compliance and resource data governance required.

    + Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing high-impact portfolios.

    + Experience in corporate strategy, business transformation, or enterprise change management is highly preferred.

    + Deep knowledge of portfolio and resource management frameworks (e.g., MoP, SAFe LPM, PMI PfMP).

    + Strong financial and data analysis skills, including experience with ERP and time tracking platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Clarity PPM, Planview, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project Online.

    + Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI (advanced reporting experience preferred).

    + Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.

    + High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity across systems.

    + Strong strategic thinking and analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

    + Expertise in portfolio optimization, resource management, and risk mitigation.

    + Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives, balancing short-term execution with long-term strategic goals.

    + Understanding of and compliance with SPP Policies and Procedures.

    + Commitment to ensuring organizational adherence and enforcement of established policies and standards.

    Preferred:

    + MBA or Master’s in related field

    + PMP, PfMP, or PgMP Certification

    Work Environment:

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

    + Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

    + Understanding of compliance with and enforcement of SPP Policies and Procedures

    Position Type, Location, and Expected Hours of Work:

    This is a full-time, onsite hybrid position based in Little Rock, Arkansas. The standard workweek is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with extended hours may be required. Job requires managing staff working rotating shift schedules with long hours.

    Travel Requirement:

    This position requires minimal travel (approximately 5%).
