The Opportunity
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a **Quality Systems Administrator** to join our partner, a renowned leader in the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) industry. In this crucial position, you’ll ensure that the documentation driving product quality and safety is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible — directly supporting the teams that design, produce, and inspect life-saving equipment.

What You’ll Do
As the Quality Systems Administrator, you’ll take ownership of document control and play a key role in supporting engineering, production, and quality teams. Here’s how you’ll make an impact:
+ Review and verify critical title block info (part numbers, revisions, descriptions, dates).
+ Rename, organize, and maintain documents in compliance with control standards.
+ Ensure easy access and traceability of digital files in shared directories and systems.
+ Distribute current document versions and archive obsolete ones.
+ Provide controlled documents to internal teams on request.
+ Maintain and optimize electronic document systems and workflows.
+ Assist with audits, traceability efforts, and continuous improvement projects.
+ Collaborate across departments to uphold quality and compliance standards.
+ Occasionally enter production areas and follow all safety/PPE requirements.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ 1–3 years in document control, quality assurance, or admin support in manufacturing.
+ Experience with engineering documents, controlled files, or drawings.
+ Strong attention to detail and file accuracy.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
+ Familiarity with SharePoint, network drives, or QMS/ERP platforms.
Preferred:
+ Associate degree.
+ Familiarity with engineering drawings and revision control best practices.
+ Prior experience supporting audits or document retrieval processes.
Also Important:
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ Ability to work independently and across departments.
+ Clear, effective communication and documentation habits.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
+ Office-based within a manufacturing facility.
+ May require entering production areas with PPE.
+ Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs).
+ Prolonged periods of sitting or computer work.

**Pay Details:** $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
