What You'll Do: A Role Focused on Community and Care
You’ll be a vital part of a close community **urgent care team** , offering precision and compassion in every interaction.
+ Welcome and prepare patients for their exams, making sure they feel comfortable and informed.
+ Coordinate the day's flow and handle necessary paperwork, keeping our clinic running smoothly.
+ Use your expertise to select the right technical factors and equipment to get the clearest possible images.
+ Work closely with physicians to understand the patient's history and ensure you perform the most appropriate and effective exam.
+ Apply the ALARA principle and other safety measures meticulously to ensure radiation safety for yourself, the patient, and visitors.
+ Manage the exam room, making sure it's fully stocked, equipped, and ready for every procedure.
+ Adapt the exam as needed when challenges arise, demonstrating your problem-solving skills to ensure high-quality care.

Essential Qualifications and Certifications
To join our team as a Radiology Technologist, you must meet the following key requirements:
+ **Education:** Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
+ **Certification** : You must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
+ **ARRT Status** : You must be either **ARRT-certified** or **ARRT-eligible** at the time of hire. If you are ARRT-eligible, you must achieve your **ARRT(R) certification within 6 months** of joining us.
+ **Oregon Licensure:** You must be registered with the **Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI)** prior to starting work.
+ **Clinical Skill:** You must be competent and available to perform **phlebotomy as needed** within the clinic setting.
**A note on experience:** While we prefer candidates with at least one year of relevant experience, we understand that great talent comes in many forms.
