Job Description
The Financial Analyst plays a critical role in driving data-informed decision-making across the organization. This position is responsible for delivering actionable insights through financial modeling, performance analysis, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and the ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations.
Job Responsibilities
+ Provide analytical and strategic support to business units, helping drive performance and operational efficiency.
+ Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess business effectiveness.
+ Develop and maintain custom dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, etc. to support business needs.
+ Prepare and present monthly financial reviews, including variance analysis, trend identification, and forecasting insights.
+ Produce weekly, monthly, and annual performance reports, including revenue, margin, labor, and cost analysis.
+ Conduct month-end critiques and participate in Finance and Accounting meetings to share insights and recommendations.
+ Conduct ad hoc analysis, including capital expenditure requests (CER), pricing realization tracking, inventory movement, and scenario modeling.
+ Perform benefit tracking on special projects across Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Procurement, Sales, Marketing, etc.
+ Assist in preparing financial projections, scenario analyses, and weekly close processes.
+ Support all functions of the business in identifying risks and opportunities across departments
+ Continuously improve methods for tracking and visualizing financial performance.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA a plus.
+ 2?3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), data analytics, or business analysis.
+ Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling; experience with Power BI and SQL is highly desirable.
+ Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
+ Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
+ Willingness to work occasional overtime to meet deadlines.
