Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an **Associate** or **Experienced** **Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer (Ordnance)** in **Saint Charles, MO.** Boeing has an established legacy of national defense through our Space, Intelligence & Weapon Systems programs.

Position Responsibilities:

+ Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design

+ Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups

+ Performs and documents analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications

+ Contributes to supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals.

+ Supports system components' designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation

+ Trains others

+ Works under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

**This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship** . An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

+ Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.

+ 2 or more years' related work experience in an engineering role or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

+ Experience working energetics

+ Experience working with energetics suppliers

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range:

Associate: $76,500 - $103,500

Experienced: $95,200 - $ 128,800
