Boeing Commercial Airplanes** (BCA) is looking for an **Associate, Experienced, or** **Senior Writer Editor – Technical Communicator** to join our team in **Mesa, Arizona** or **Everett, Washington.

Primary responsibilities:

+ Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation.

+ Analyzes, interprets and develops new, innovative communications solutions for customers.

+ Develops or modifies existing content and configuration management systems and processes.

+ Leads writing and editing production. Determines approaches to content structure and design. Leads critical projects.

+ Defines content organization, nomenclature and navigation systems for multifaceted projects. Resolves issues regarding regulatory and legal requirements. Defines new standards and guidelines.

+ Provides expertise related to emerging trends and technology in the writing industry.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

+ Level 2: 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Level 3: 6+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Level 4: 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ 2+ years of experience using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables and release technical publications.

+ Experience with Technical Publications, aircraft systems or technical data.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

+ 2+ years of previous experience in publication and online writing techniques

+ Experience working directly with engineering teams on a product for both an internal and external audience.

+ Comfortable and proficient in gathering data from multiple sources, and compiling in a single document.

+ Experience with project management principles to manage simultaneous projects.

+ Experience driving digital solutions.

+ Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.

+ Experience using an XML-based authoring system.

+ Self-starting, accountable, and able to work independently.

+ Strong time management and organization skills.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

**Summary Pay Range** :

+ Associate (Level 2): $62,900 - $90,850

+ Experienced (Level 3): $76,500 - $110,400

+ Senior (Level 4): $91,800 - $133,400
