Title: Accounting Manager
Compensation: $95k - $120k annually, DOE
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview
The Accounting Manager will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations and play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of public accounting experience and agriculture industry knowledge, with a strong understanding of both GAAP and the nuances of ag finance.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead month-end and year-end close processes
+ Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
+ Supervise accounting staff and coordinate workflow
+ Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries
+ Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
+ Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations
+ Liaise with external auditors and tax professionals
+ Support strategic financial planning and decision-making

Requirements
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
+ 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting
+ Experience in agriculture or related industry strongly preferred
+ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Excel
+ Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
+ Proven leadership and team management abilities
