    A manufacturing laboratory is seeking a **full-time QC/R&D Chemist** to perform testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. This role supports both quality control and research & development, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements while contributing to product development initiatives.

     

    Located in Cerritos, CA

     

    1st shift

    Contract to hire

    **Pay:** $25-28/hour

    Key Responsibilities

    + Operate, calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment.

    + Perform quality tests on raw materials, in-process batches, and finished goods.

    + Conduct stability testing and monitor production batches.

    + Prepare and send samples to third-party labs.

    + Maintain inventory of materials, components, and supplies.

    + Record and analyze test data, prepare reports, and create documentation (spec sheets, COAs, OTC/QC regulatory documents).

    + Assist with lab-scale batch preparation for product development.

    + Inspect equipment, documentation, and products before and after filling.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.

    + 1–2+ years of experience in QC, R&D, or analytical laboratory work.

    + Familiarity with analytical techniques and instrumentation.

    + Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills.

    + Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Google Docs.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
