    Overview

     

    ABM is seeking a highly skilled Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) Project Manager to lead the deployment, integration, and operational readiness of AMHS infrastructure at the Samsung Taylor semiconductor facility. This role is critical to ensuring seamless coordination between ABM, Samsung, AMHS vendors, and subcontractors to meet project milestones, safety standards, and performance goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Project Leadership & Coordination

    + Manage full lifecycle of AMHS projects including planning, execution, and closeout.

    + Serve as primary liaison between ABM, Samsung, and AMHS vendors.

    + Ensure alignment on technical specifications, safety protocols, and operational requirements.

    + Technical Oversight

    + Oversee installation and commissioning of AMHS electrical to components including OHTs, stockers, and control systems.

    + Coordinate system integration with fab automation and IT infrastructure.

    + Monitor system performance and lead troubleshooting efforts.

    + Schedule & Budget Management

    + Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets.

    + Track progress against milestones and proactively address delays or cost overruns.

    + Compliance & Safety

    + Ensure all work complies with Samsung’s safety standards and local regulations.

    + Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

    + Vendor & Stakeholder Management

    + Manage relationships with AMHS supplier.

    + Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with engineering, facilities, and operations teams.

    Qualifications:

    1.

     

    + 5+ years of experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments.

    + 3+ years of project management experience, preferably with AMHS systems.

    + Familiarity with scheduling systems, SPC, DOE, and equipment integration.

    + Strong understanding of semiconductor fab operations and cleanroom protocols.

    + PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

    Preferred Skills:

    + Experience with AMHS platforms or similar.

    + Knowledge of machine learning applications in logistics optimization.

    + Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

    + Excellent communication and leadership skills.

    Work Conditions:

    + On-site role at Samsung Taylor facility.

    + May require occasional travel to vendor sites or Samsung HQ.

    + Weekend or off-hours availability may be required during critical phases.
