    Annual salary: $50,000/yr POSITION OBJECTIVE: To supervise, monitor and provide support to staff responsible for client eligibility activities & data collection activities that relate to physical/electronic case file maintenance. This position also serves as a liaison for Adoption, Foster Board, GAP, and as a Medicaid information resource. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Monitor and supervise information and eligibility specialist staff including tasks specific to Dependency, Adoption, and GAP activities Establish and maintain information management procedures specifically related to Dependency, Adoption and GAP Monitor, approve and supervise client eligibility activities for Medicaid and Federal Funds Approve placement and payment information for Adoption, GAP and Foster Board Monitor and approve data collection activities Performs quarterly Federal Monitoring Reviews · Obtain and maintain appropriate case documentation (court orders, case notes, correspondences, birth certificates, social security cards, etc. for determining eligibility of clients Perform IES training activities such as staff training, Argos training, DCM orientation and ongoing FSFN support Assure accuracy of information to monitor Staff statistics by performing routine validation sampling Receives consumer and provider calls, log any complaints, respond to requests or assistance in a timely an effective manner Establish and maintain effective mechanisms to promote timely problem identification and resolution Establish and maintain ongoing quality improvement activity to monitor services and ensure they are delivered in an effective and efficient manner Establish and maintain effective mechanisms to monitor workload standards, service goals and priorities Assist the Director of Information & Eligibility with problem resolution and continuing quality improvement Provide coverage, monitor and approve data collection and eligibility activities, as needed Demonstrate strong teamwork skills by supporting colleagues, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a positive work environment. Facilitate routine staff and team meetings · Set project standards, track progress, define requirements, and plan updates to ensure successful project management. Participates in creation and annual reviews of Unit Policy and Procedure Manuals to ensure all policy and procedures reflect current state, federal and system of care requirements. Attends regular IES team meetings, staff meetings, service center meetings, case management meetings, in-service trainings and conferences as needed Participates in the agency strategic plan & quality improvement processes Other duties as required. Job performance requires fulfilling other incidental or related duties as assigned, assisting and training others, and performing duties of higher rated positions from time to time for developmental purposes. QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: Associates degree in a administration, management or human services field Five years of related experience Office management/Supervisory experience PREFERRED: Child welfare or related experience Record management experience Data management experience Experience in client eligibility determination Previous experience in a collaborative or cross-functional team setting SKILLS: REQUIRED: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Able to break down problems and information in order to systematically identify the cause of problems or make recommendations; gather information from multiple sources; analyze complex information; organize information for analysis. Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel Able to be thorough and complete when working with assembling, processing, or providing detailed information; track details even when under pressure. Able to maintain composure and handle frequent job changes or unexpected disruptions; work with conflicting, delayed, or unclear information; remain effective when faced with change and uncertainty. · Able to maintain a composed problem-solving approach when faced with unrealistic expectations, pressing time demands, frustration, or interpersonal conflict. · Able to persevere in accomplishing tasks or objectives; commit to long hours of work; do everything possible to reach goals; have a sense of urgency about getting results. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to efficiently manage time Ability to analyze, integrate and report data Ability to read and interpret legal documents to arrive at appropriate analyses of needs Ability to interpret and follow operating procedures Demonstrate cultural and linguistic competence & sensitivity to population served Ability to travel PREFERRED: Knowledge of basic business financial processes Thorough knowledge of state SACWIS/CCWIS system -FSFN (Florida Safe Family Network). SPECIAL CONDITIONS: · Thorough Background Screening upon hire including FBI, FDLE, Local Law check, Employment Reference check, DMV check, Criminal Records check, Social Security Trace & Drug Screening.
