    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    As a General Production Worker, you will work in various departments around the mill, including stacking lumber, feeding vertical edgers, stacking slabs of wood, and operating in the pallet mill on the automatic stalker. Once acclimated to the position, you will receive OSHA training in forklift operation.

    Responsibilities

    + Stack lumber and slabs of wood.

    + Feed vertical edgers.

    + Operate in the pallet mill on the automatic stalker.

    + Participate in OSHA forklift operation training once acclimated.

    Essential Skills

    + Labor and production experience.

    + 6+ months of manufacturing experience.

    + Ability to stand on feet for 10 hours a day.

    + 2 references related to manufacturing or general labor.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 6+ months of forklift experience.

    + 6+ months of farmhand experience.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in a fast-paced mill setting that is loud and dusty, alongside a team of about 10 employees. It is required to wear steel-toed boots and jeans at all times. Be aware that you may encounter a few slivers during your work.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Preston, Minnesota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
