    POSITION SUMMARY

    CVS Health is transforming digital healthcare by building cohesive, scalable platform solutions that enable smarter, simpler, and more human-centered experiences. We’re seeking an Engineer to transform and modernize the way we deliver end to end platform capabilities that provide increased transparency into how data traverses our ecosystem and how we optimize that data and data related technologies.

     

    We are looking for seasoned Staff Software Development Engineer with a strong data background that has experience delivering in a connected ecosystem, collaborating across teams, delivering in a product model, and willing to push the envelope in terms of new techniques and tools.

    _Key Responsibilities:_

    + Deliver integrated platform capabilities from building data and database solutions, connected to a front end for self-service consumption

    + Measure consumption of platform capabilities across teams and build empirical models for prioritization and delivery

    + Build capabilities to better understand our data and eliminate bad data behaviors to support larger efforts like data center modernization and consolidation

    + Integrate tools and emerging technologies into pipelines and our delivery ecosystem to build better data behaviors

    + Improve data transparency across platform engineering capabilities

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    + 7+ years of experience in database and data related technologies

    + 5+ years of experience with software engineer related technologies, in both front end and back end technologies

    + 5+ years of experience of proven experience data analytics

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    + Demonstrable experience with AI tooling and concepts

    + Good knowledge within CI/CD and data pipelines

    + Data story telling

    + Understanding of correct engineering data behaviors

    EDUCATION

    Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    $106,605.00 - $213,210.00

     

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
