To provide a full range of HR services to the organization; actively promoting a culture where the people resource is continuously developed and empowered in all areas to achieve world class business performance.
+ Recruitment & Selection: Prepares position and person profile where Division has specific needs. Participates in final selection process of key staff where appropriate.
+ Hiring: Manages hiring process for home-country based Division level staff.
+ Training & Development: Defines specific Training and Development objectives for the division aligned with the Division strategy deployment.
+ Participates in training actions as appropriate.
+ Responsible for overall Division training budget.
+ Employee Empowerment/Opinion surveys: Uses results of empowerment/ opinion surveys to measure Division results and defines division objectives arising from these results.
+ Reporting: Uses local reporting results to consolidate data at Division level (if appropriate) and to make recommendations for the benefit of the Division.
+ Cultural and ethical values: Ensures Division Manager is aware of any ethical issues arising and the recommended course of action.
+ Salary and PPP reviews: In conjunction with the Division GM, is involved in PPP reviews and objectives setting for the key managers of the Division. Supports Division GM with the salary review process for direct reports of GM located outside of division headquarters, observing country guidelines and with Country HR input.
+ Group/Division Strategic HR initiatives/plans: Consults with Country HR & location HR on feasibility of implementation. Liaises with location HR and line managers to ensure effective implementation. Provides strategic direction.
+ Lean and any other major strategic corporate initiatives: Sets objectives for location HR to support Lean. Creates environment to share knowledge/ experience across locations.
+ Acts as sounding board to GM and division team. Provides support, advice and guidance on divisional issues to location HR.
+ Supports CHRM in cases of executing necessary organizational changes which affect the division.
Education & Experience
+ Ideal candidate has 10 or more years of experience as Human Resource professional, with at least 5 or more years of experience in a leadership role
+ Previous work experience ideally includes experience as Human Resource generalist or Human Resource Specialist (Compensation & Benefits, Learning and Development)
+ 4 year university degree (or international equivalent) required; Ideal candidate has studied Human Resources, Psychology, Business/Management, or related areas of study
+ Completed Master's degree (or international equivalent) in Human Resources, Psychology, Business/Management, or related areas of study preferred
Skills & Competencies
+ Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper opportunities
+ Must have functional understanding of cost accounting and adopt to practical application
+ Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts
+ Must be an innovator and embrace lean enterprises principles and practices.

Competitive Compensation
+ Pay Range: $138150 to $241850 annually
+ Participation in Annual Incentive Program
