    Job Title: Machine Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and running a single repack line, performing machine change-overs, and assisting with repairs. This role is vital in ensuring the production of high-quality products in accordance with safety and quality standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and run a single repack line per Manufacturer's and Departmental Specifications.

    + Perform machine change-overs for product run changes as determined by the production schedule.

    + Conduct minor repairs and adjustments to machinery.

    + Assist shift mechanics with major machinery repairs as needed.

    + Ensure case counts on all line runs and verify their accuracy with the finished product dock checker.

    + Verify metal detector accuracy.

    + Adhere to all facility safety policies and procedures, always working in a safe manner.

    + Maintain good housekeeping practices.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in machine operation and general production.

    + Mechanical aptitude.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    + Ability to stand for 10 hours.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with mechanical troubleshooting.

    + Experience as a Bagger Operator or in similar roles.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in a clean, well-lit, and temperature-controlled environment. Multiple shift opportunities are available, including 1st shift from Monday to Saturday, 7 am to 3 pm, 2nd shift from Monday to Saturday, 3 pm to 11 pm, and 3rd shift from Sunday to Friday, 11 pm to 7 am.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BROCKPORT, New York.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
